It's really hard to figure
out where to start describing this magnificent work of art, that just
happens to also be an automatic knife. To start with, as usual this
knife is sole authorship. Peter even made the 14K Gold screws. The
body, lock bar and blade are Damascus. The abdomen is yellow and black
pearl. The wings are tortoise shell. The inlays are 22K Gold wire.
The Damascus spine (spring) has a 14K Gold inlay and 6 sapphires. The
liners are anodized and fully file worked. The eyes are Ammonite with
real Amber overlays for the 3-D affect. The stand is 14K Gold. The
blade length is approximately 3 5/8" and the handle (body) is
approximately 5 1/8". When the blade opens, the lock up is like a bank
vault. When closed, the blade centers.
