I think I need to round the edges as shown below. That will give your thumb room to rotate with the thumb studs. What do you think?

Hello Kevin, I thought I'd file the serrations from the false edge right to the edge of the bolster. I'll also round the edges of the finger cut outs. I also raised the thumb studs. What do you think? Please let me know.

The thumb stud is fairly low on the blade, but if I put it close to the area that I am going to file the serrations, I'm afraid that you will have to stretch to reach it. Let me know if the location is OK.
