Fred Carter
Fred Carter and I go back
over 26 years. Back in 1980 I visited his shop to increase the quality
of my knives. He noticed
I was admiring some of his patterns,
and he told me something I will never forget. He said “A.T.,
you can copy anything in my shop, except my name”

Fred doesn't make using
knives these days. Most of his knives start at $1,000 of dollars. A few
years ago, he started making knives that started out as cast 440C. He
still hand grinds and finishes the blade and the knife. All he did was
take the grunt work out of making these knives. The handle material is
Dymondwood®. Dymondwood® is made from 1/16 hardwood veneers that are
vacuum impregnated with dye and phenolic resin. The blade length is 3
1/16" and overall it's 7 3/16". If you want to purchase this knife, click here. |
Ethical practices and the concerns of my customers are given first priority. If you are not satisfied with your knife, return it within 5 days in the same condition as you received it for a full refund, less shipping. Shipping and insurance is $10.00 in the USA, Canadian shipments $15.00.
