The above knife has a blade length of 8" and is 1/4" thick ATS-34. The tang is tapered. The handle is black linen Micarta, and the entire knife has a bead blasted finish. This is the same style handle that is on my Combat Bowie below.

The above knife is a fancy version of my Camp Knife. It has a blade length of 8" and is 1/4" thick ATS-34. The tang is tapered. The handle is stabilized burly maple, and the entire knife has a beautiful hand stroked satin finish. The price as shown is $550.00. This includes a leather sheath.

When I made this knife, I immediately sent it to Weyer for the above photograph. When the knife came back, I took it on a camping trip. After using it to chop up some large limbs for firewood, I quickly developed one huge blister on my index finger. I realized I had a major design problem. By stopping the handle material short of the index finger I had left no protection from the tang of the knife. Now I bring the handle material more towards the front of the knife. Check out the handle on my Camp knife above, the handle material goes past the index finger and makes the knife safe and comfortable. My handles fits your hand like an old friend makes you feel. Warm, comfortable, and safe. That's how I make the majority of the handles for all my sheath knives.
